Initiating a Project

Planning Design & Construction (PD&C) facilitates and manages design and construction projects at the University of Arizona and is responsible for administering design and construction contracts in accordance with the Arizona Board of Regents Policy requirements.

The first step in initiating a project is to obtain necessary administrative approvals through the Project Proposal process.

Please note that to initiate a project the requesting department must have identified a funding source.

Building renovations are subject to Federal Accessibility Requirements which require allocation of up to 20% of the renovation costs for accessibility improvement
